Post your YABS results — megathread

@brusselsdzire1 with respect, processor identifiers in a public benchmark thread do not constitute personal data under any reasonable interpretation. I have been running monitoring for fourteen years and the alert fatigue from false positives is worse than any GDPR notification. My latest OVHcloud box:

I had to explain to a tier one at a certain budget provider that YABS is a benchmark, not a DDoS tool. They escalated. Their senior said, and I quote, "the script makes many connections, this is suspicious activity." The customer was running it on their own single core VPS against localhost. I have been in abuse for eight years. The ticket said.

Back when I started in this business, we tested restores every quarter because we had seen what happens when you do not. Mark my words, @YuriDavid is not the only one with a backup that will fail when needed. The industry has not improved; we have merely buried the failures under more layers of automation. In twenty years I have watched the same mistakes repeat with shinier interfaces. The pessimist is rarely disappointed.

@YuriDavid oh no! Sent ticket yesterday to OVHcloud about similar issue, they were very helpful! Made test order with new storage tier, working great so far! Will post YABS when migration is done!

@armstrongvds how is KnownHost preview? Made test order last week but still waiting for approval, maybe they are busy! Cheers!
