$4/MO ARE YOU KIDDING ME
SNAPPED IT UP at Hetzner flash sale last night, 2 vCPU / 2GB / Hillsboro
Processor : AMD Ryzen 5 3600
CPU cores : 2 @ 3600.000 MHz
RAM : 1.9 GiB
fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50):
---------------------------------
Block Size | 4k (IOPS) | 64k (IOPS)
Read | 789.45 MB/s (197.3k) | 1.56 GB/s (24.3k)
Write | 792.12 MB/s (198.0k) | 1.58 GB/s (24.6k)
Total | 1.58 GB/s (395.3k) | 3.14 GB/s (48.9k)
Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test:
---------------------------------
Test | Value
Single Core | 1876
Multi Core : 3456
Price history: was €5/mo, dropped to €4 for 6 hours only. Ryzen 3600 at this price is criminal.

E-2288G is very fast for single core! My english is bad but the server is good
Latency to my home in Lyon is 12ms, very nice

FlowSana thank you very much for the tip about cpu flags
I made VPS last month with Vultr Singapore, 2 vCPU / 4GB / $10/mo. First time using yabs: https://github.com/masonr/yet-another-bench-script
Processor : Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4
CPU cores : 2 @ 2400.000 MHz
RAM : 3.8 GiB
fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50):

Total | 627.57 MB/s (156.8k) | 1.36 GB/s (21.1k)
iperf3 Network Speed Tests (IPv4):

Simple is better
Hetzner 1GB plan, €4/mo
Disk 300MB/s, network 500mbit, GB6 single 600
It hosts my rss reader
That is enough

Zoekyo that Hetzner plan is OpenVZ masquerading as KVM, check your /proc/user_beancounters
Real KVM has proper isolation. Virtualization tax on oversold nodes is real.
My test: OVHcloud Gravelines, KVM confirmed, 2 vCPU / 4GB / €7/mo
Processor : AMD EPYC 7443P
CPU cores : 2 @ 2850.000 MHz
RAM : 3.8 GiB
fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50):
---------------------------------
Block Size | 4k (IOPS) | 64k (IOPS)
Read | 567.89 MB/s (141.9k) | 1.23 GB/s (19.2k)
Write | 571.23 MB/s (142.8k) | 1.25 GB/s (19.5k)
Total | 1.13 GB/s (284.7k) | 2.48 GB/s (38.7k)
Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test:
---------------------------------
Test | Value
Single Core : 1567
Multi Core : 2987
Cgroup limits set properly, no swap thrashing. EPYC 7443P is solid midrange. Virtualization tax minimal on this node, steal under 1

Yabs dies on iperf3 cause shared IPv4 but:
