Vultr Paris to S3 is decent for egress but the price stacks fast. OVHcloud Gravelines unlimited is what I actually need for a seedbox, but now I'm spooked. Anyone got hard numbers on their "unlimited" dedicated?
OVHcloud's "unlimited" on Kimsufi-tier is 500Mbps, not 1Gbps. The 1Gbps "unlimited" is Enterprise range, 200 EUR/month+. Read the small print on the SoYouStart line too, fair use applies to the 1Gbps burst. I keep screenshots of every order page now.

Montreal perspective: OVHcloud Beauharnois is my bread and butter for clients. The "unlimited" on SY-32 is 250Mbps sustained, burst to 1Gbps. I've had clients throttled at 80TB. Not 50, not 40. 80. Inconsistent enforcement, which is worse than a hard cap.
This is the real poison. If the limit is 50TB, say 50TB. I can plan around 50TB. "Maybe 50, maybe 80, maybe never" means I need a backup plan for the backup plan. That's not unmetered, that's roulette.

Buy transit directly. Any retail "unmetered" has a fair use clause somewhere, it's just whether they enforce it. Hetzner's is in 14.3 as PureEuorg noted, OVHcloud's is in their "best effort" language, Contabo's is... well, we know now.

Lah, so sad. I am think "unmetered" mean I can push 24/7 xixixi. Now I learn is "unmetered until we mood change" xixixi. My coffee still cheaper than my vps but my vps now need babysit.
In Buenos Aires we get used to "ilimitado" meaning 10GB on mobile plans, so this is familiar pain. The dollar exchange makes Contabo attractive until you factor in the time value of migration. 50TB at 100Mbps is two weeks of suffering.
