I tested Contabo's 1Gbps "unmetered" with iperf3 to Vultr Frankfurt before my project went live. 940 Mbps up for 48 hours, no throttle. But that was 2TB, not 50. The throttle is volume-triggered, not time-triggered. Would have caught it if I'd tested longer.

Good data point. So the "unmetered" is actually a hidden tier: use little, get 1Gbps. Use lots, get 100Mbps. Two products, one price, worst of both. ARM at 100Mbps is a heater, not a server.
