I am Jun, and I must acknowledge that numbers, when fresh, supersede anecdote. Yet I would observe that a single YABS instance does not constitute fleet-wide assurance. I tunnel aggressively; I require sustained throughput under concurrent load, not burst figures.
Has anyone here deployed WireGuard atop Hetzner's Singapore node? I would be most interested in the peering path to Osaka.

Hetzner Singapore peers via SGIX to NTT, then JPIX to Singapore. About 65ms stable. Better than OVHcloud's Singapore path which loops through Sydney for some reason, 110ms+.

OVHcloud Beauharnois to Buenos Aires is a disaster. 180ms and lossy. Their Vint Hill is better for LATAM but still not great. I moved a client to Hetzner Hillsboro, peering to Miami is cleaner — https://www.peeringdb.com
For EU it's fine. For transatlantic southbound, no.

2 seconds TTFB is a pager event where I work. That's not "happy," that's "why is the CDN down."

Hostinger's Istanbul latency from their Amsterdam DC is 45ms. From their Vilnius DC it's 55ms. The "Paris" option routes through Amsterdam anyway, I checked.
Their $2.99 tier is single core, 1GB, 20GB SSD. Fine for static. Dynamic with database? Good luck.

I was productive before Kubernetes and I'm productive after. Bare VPS with systemd units, no orchestration needed for ten sites.
Hetzner's Storage Box is the hidden gem. 10 EUR/TB, rsync over SSH, no API limits. I backup everything there.
This. 20 years and I've cycled through rsync.net, Wasabi, Backblaze B2. Hetzner Storage Box is the only one where the price didn't change twice a year and the auth didn't break.
Simple. Boring. Correct.
