I run 4x 1GB on Contabo. EUR 4.50 each so EUR 18 total, 6GB RAM because they overcommit differently. But CPU is shared heavily, WordPress admin panel loads in 4 seconds. You get what you pay for.

Has anyone actually seen this 30% no-IPMI deal in the wild, or is it purely hypothetical? Contabo still bundles it on everything last I checked.

Same. West coast US flash sales are 3pm here if I'm lucky, usually middle of night. I just don't bother anymore with RackNerd specials. Their regular pricing still beats most EU providers though.

Has anyone tried their API directly? Not the inventory endpoint YuriDavid mentioned, but the actual customer API? I got a key for my existing VPS and some endpoints seem to return stock info without auth on certain paths. Might be worth probing.
