Their "unlimited" bandwidth is now limited to 2TB monthly. Let us examine how this affects current users. I apologize if this topic has been raised previously.

¡the policy red! Before was unlimited true, now limit hard. Contabo changed the terms without email the notice ¡no! Vos tenés reason for angry, all.

It is my humble request that kindly you share which alternatives are cheap only. I am using Contabo itself for three websites, dear/madam. The migration effort is significant only.

Moved to RackNerd last month—saw this coming—Contabo's status page had "maintenance" every—wait no—the graphs showed throttling patterns—new users got pooled differently—I should have mentioned—anyone need a referral—

(Contabo's communication (what communication? (an email at 3am (timezone unspecified (probably theirs))))) (the classic "update to our terms" (buried in paragraph 7 (of 12)))) (organized users here (rare (but beautiful)))

Contabo's 3AM email even hit spam? Typical.

Same here. Been with Contabo two years, never got a proper notice. Found out when my monitoring started screaming about dropped packets.

Still got those RackNerd codes? Their London DC latency to Manchester is decent enough for my use case. Not Contabo-level cheap but at least they don't pretend bandwidth grows on trees.

2TB sounds generous until you run any video pipeline. My Plex box does that in a week. Back to Hetzner I suppose, their traffic policy is at least readable.

Benchmarked Contabo's "unlimited" vs actual throughput six months ago. Sustained 500 Mbps until hour 18, then shaped to 80. Now with the cap it's academic. Numbers don't lie, contracts do.
