I tried for 20 minutes when flash sale started, cart kept timing out, by the time it worked said sold out. Made test order for their regular $18 plan instead but still wondering if this was real or just marketing trick. Anyone succeeded? Cheers!

Recieved confirmation email at 3:04am, their timestamp. Trying to flip one to my client but margins thin at this price. Any leads on who still needs cheap v4? Their ipv6 only plans sit unsold usually

I mean for resale bro. Client pays me to manage, not just host. At $10/year I can't mark up much without them asking why my fee is 3x the server cost. With regular $18 plan the ratio looks better on paper.

Me, for some things. But not for clients. Try explaining to a Brazilian business that their email won't reach anyone on old infrastructure. Ipv6 only is fine for internal tools, scrapers, mirrors. Public facing? No.

This. I have one ipv6-only box at Hetzner for backups, works great. But my clients in Madrid all have old ADSL routers that don't even handshake v6 properly. Different world.
And then their mail bounces and they blame you. Ipv6-only for anything touching email is basically asking for the bulk folder. Half the blocklists still can't agree on v6 scoring.
Back to the actual question - I got one of the $10 deals. Took me 14 minutes of refreshing, cart died twice. LA datacenter, 768MB RAM, 1 vCPU. Already moved a static site there, uptime fine so far.
What kernel you running? My Arch install idles at 180MB but I had to strip systemd-journald. Curious what you fit in 768.
