I use Hetzner for my small site. 4.51 EUR, no spam, no bank involved. MeritBudi, maybe move before 12 months end?

Same bank or different? Mine was CIMB, the panel was custom but the spam pattern identical. Insurance, gold investment, all within 48 hours of signup.

The KnownHost white-label agreement

Do you have source for this? I checked KnownHost terms just now, nothing about white-label data sharing in the public docs. Could be separate reseller agreement. I looked at https://www.knownhost.com but didn't see it there either.

Slow how?

Custom panel. Login takes 15 seconds, every click another 10. No cPanel, no DirectAdmin. They call it "SimpleSite Manager" or something. And yes, the spam started exactly 72 hours after I click register. Very suspicious timing.

This is why I self-host on a Pi in my flat and route everything through a Latvian ISP that still believes in silence. My bank tried to sell me "digital safe deposit box" last month. I asked them what encryption they use. They said "bank-grade". I said that is not an algorithm. They hung up.

I know this panel. Polish bank mBank used same thing 2021-2023, also white-label from somewhere. The data leak was so bad they got fined by UODO. Not same bank but same software family maybe.

POLISH SERVERS. LOUD FANS. GOOD PRICE.

Has anyone actually read the full terms for these bank hosting deals? I tried with mine, gave up at page 47.

No public source, just inference from the CSS and the fact that KnownHost's reseller programme (which is public) explicitly offers "your branding, our infrastructure". The data handling would be in the reseller contract, not customer-facing. I could be wrong about which white-label provider, but the panel behaviour matches KnownHost's older stack. The 2019/2020 timeline is solid, I have migration emails.

Following this thread. My bank in SG just launched similar "perks".

MBank used same thing

Thank you for this. I will search more. Maybe I can find the actual software provider and complain to OJK (our financial regulator). The bank keep denying, say "we never sell customer data to third party". But the headers don't lie.
