That's the bit, isn't it. You need permissioned recipients for ethical testing. My customer base is UK-only, GDPR-covered, not lendable.
You could use a synthetic list — mail-tester.com, GlockApps, the usual tools. Not perfect, but reproducible.
I can provide the mail-tester credits. Night shift boredom fund.
Alright, we have a test. Tom, ping me on DM with the VPS details. I'll document everything — domain registration timestamps, DNS propagation, warm-up schedule, delivery results.

Make sure you test Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo separately. Their filters diverged years ago.
