Debian 12 minimal, no panel. nginx, static files, done. 340MB used at boot. Not exciting but it works.
Did anyone actually get the RackNerd $10 yearly?
I missed it completely. Was asleep, woke up to notifications 4 hours late. These flash sales at US midnight are brutal for Asia. RackNerd should rotate times.
Same. West coast US flash sales are 3pm here if I'm lucky, usually middle of night. I just don't bother anymore with RackNerd specials. Their regular pricing still beats most EU providers though.
Only if you don't need GDPR-facing docs. I asked RackNerd about DPA last year, got a template that looked copied from 2017. For personal projects? Fine. Client data? No.
Has anyone actually tried their Amsterdam location? Latency from my end looks worse than LA for some reason, routing through London first.
That's Cogent for you. Check your traceroute, probably hits Cogent in LHR then back to AMS. Not RackNerd-specific, lot of budget providers buy Cogent blends.
I got the $10 deal too. Added it to my collection, now 19 VMs. Running a Tor relay, because why not. Amsterdam DC, no issues with bandwidth cap so far.
Hermano you need help. Or a bigger NUC.
Following this thread. Did anyone try stacking the $10 with their affiliate credit? I have $17 sitting in my account from referrals.
Won't work. Flash sale items excluded from affiliate balance, I tried. Read the terms after it failed.
