Admin, did you test your restore?
Before you chase bandwidth, protect that archive:
- 3-2-1 rule: 3 copies, 2 media types, 1 offsite
- Archive originals separate from streaming copies
- Test restore quarterly, not annually
@admin For 10TB sustained, honest providers are rare. Hetzner and CloudCone have been mentioned in past threads, but I think their AUP has something about media streaming. Worth reading their terms before you do it. Some ban it outright.

Hej, on server with 15TB I use InterServer, is stable
But no trust "unlimited", hej? Malý server on Vultr got suspend after 8TB, ticket said "fair use" no fair, no? Into config I put traffic limit now, better safe
For video, use CDN hej? Origin on cheap VPS, push to cache. No need big pipe on origin
boot anything, anywhere, anytime

Bunny.net good peering to SEA? From Hanoi my users hit Singapore pop, latency okay but not great. Better than Cloudflare to VN though.
For truly cheap, BuyVM with their "unmetered" in Luxembourg? Heh. I know two people who got the letter. Not sustainable.
RAM is just fast disk, right?

This is the actual answer. Admin asked for VPS under $20, but the architecture is wrong. Origin + CDN, not monolithic VPS.
That said, test your restore first. 12TB of archive footage has no backup test mentioned. What happens when the single VPS dies?

Hetzner CX21 is 20TB in, 20TB out. I pushed 17TB one month, no ticket. But that was rsync to another box, not streaming. Different pattern.
For streaming they might care more. Their abuse team is humans though, not auto-suspend. You can talk to them.
I have 52 VPS across 9 providers. The ones that auto-suspend: CloudCone, RackNerd, any "unlimited" budget host. The ones that email first: Hetzner, BuyVM, Vultr.

From Karachi, Vultr's Mumbai pop is 180ms, Singapore 140ms. Not great for video. Hetzner Singapore better for SEA peering but price in EUR, and their SG is new, maybe not stable.
For EU-SEA bridge, what about OVH? They have Gravelines and Singapore, but no, Singapore is only VPS 2016 range, not current. I check now.
OVHcloud VPS in Singapore starts at SGD 8, bandwidth not clear. Anyone use?
