Has anyone actually priced what Contabo charges for dedicated now? Their website shows from 54 EUR but that is for the small ones.

Pynvml is the right call, I should migrate. For auth I use a random path segment, 32 bytes from /dev/urandom. Not perfect but it's a monitoring endpoint, not banking. UptimeRobot supports custom headers too, I add a bearer token there.

The real problem is UptimeRobot's free tier only does 5-minute...

Has anyone tried the UptimeRobot API for this? I know OP said it's "baby stuff" but their keyword monitoring on a custom endpoint is actually decent — https://uptimerobot.com. I have a tiny Flask app that returns 200 with "OK" only if nvidia-smi shows all four GPUs and my training job PID is alive....

Actually, your transfer timing matters (specifically (the 60-day lock (post-change-of-registrant (not just creation)))) and some ccTLDs (like .uk (actually Nominet)) have different rules. Worth checking before you commit.
