Tried Hetzner, got VAT headaches because Mexico. Stuck with DigitalOcean for the VPS, Bitwarden cloud for personal, and I sleep fine too.

My traceroute to their Frankfurt DC is prettier than my secrets setup anyway.

In Mexico City the power is cheap but the cooling is what kills you. My small closet setup needs two portable AC units running flat out six months a year. No datacenter nearby so I do what I can.

Estaba comparando planes anoche (3am, anyway) y me dio risa. Host en méxico: 15 sliders de configuración. RAM, cpu, tráfico, iops, snapshots manuales, snapshots auto, firewall "premium", cdn "regional", ssl "avanzado", backups en 3 frecuencias distintas.

Comparé con un plan de OVHcloud en alemania:...
