I use monthly now, make a server up in one hour if need. Before I lose money with yearly, two times. Is very bad feeling. Now I pay more but sleep good.

Swiss perspective: we have strong consumer protection against bait-and-switch, but "new customer only" is explicitly allowed if stated clearly. I checked with my consumer office when ABB did this with electricity plans.

I pay 8 CHF/month for a small Swiss provider, local support, actual SLA. The 9/year market is a race to the bottom that ends with your data in a Gravelines basement and your emails in /dev/null.

From Geneva: check if your OVHcloud contract includes the "vRack" internal bandwidth option. Without it, even same-datacenter traffic can bill at standard egress rates. The 3x multiplier sounds like missing vRack, not just bad headers.
