What do you use for SSL that doesn't require thinking?

Right then, I'll be proper honest with you—our free tier at Hostinger doesn't include auto-SSL. You'd need to tick the box in panel, which costs nowt extra but does require reading the bleedin' manual. Cheers lads
Honey badger don't care... about downtime
1. certbot is free but needs cron
2. Commercial CAs cost money
3. Integrated host automation exists
A) check your panel first
B) enable it
C) verify with SSL Labs
4. RTFM saves hours
5. I use Hostinger, works fine

Small correction from my own account: the auto-SSL toggle is there on free tier but it only covers the primary domain. Subdomains want the paid SSL. I found this out the hard way when my shop. Subdomain went red in Chrome.

I looked under Security > SSL/TLS Status and there's a button "Run AutoSSL" is that it? Do I press it once or does it stay on

Press it once, then check if there's an "AutoSSL Enabled" checkbox below. cPanel's AutoSSL runs Let's Encrypt in the background. It renews but you won't see cron jobs because the server handles them. Verify with SSL Labs either way.

I just moved everything to Cloudflare. Full strict mode, origin cert lasts 15 years, done. Not exactly "host handled" but closer to set-and-forget than anything I've found.
