Ubiquiti gear with default airMAX settings and someone who never changed the ethernet side. I've seen that exact pathology. The radio fragments everything anyway, so the small MTU just doubles the work.

1. Happened to me on RackNerd last month
2. Benchmarks dropped exactly 41%
3. My workaround:
3a) run sysbench cpu
3b) run fio disk test
3c) screenshot results
3d) open ticket with "noisy neighbor suspected"
4. Got migrated again within 48 hours
5. New node was actually better than origin...
