I wrote a python script that polls a few APIs. Runs on my home server in Tallinn. Not pretty but it works.

Same but in worse python and it is a cron job that emails me. Yaml victim indeed.

API polling is fine until you hit rate limits. Ask me how I know.

Rate limits and ToS violations. Some hosts explicitly ban automated price scraping in their terms.

In Chile the options are fewer so I just watch Contabo and Hetzner. No need for automation.

Always Free tier does not need tracking. Either it exists or it does not.
