¿why not¿ test the absurd branding brother. My tech blog is currently on .horse and the bounce rate is very high jaja maybe is very the TLD or maybe is very my content ¿who knows¿ but I want to try .ninja for comparison
Both cost about the same on [OVHcloud](https://www.ovhcloud.com), .horse is €18, .ninja is €16 first year
Which one screams "this person knows source engine tickrate" more brother!

Privacy nightmare either way. Both TLDs require you to trust centralized registries that can seize your domain. Laziness is paying for any domain when you can self-host on Yggdrasil with a .ygg record. I run my blog on a raspberry pi in my closet with custom DNS over TOR. Convenience is a trap. You want real tickrate control, run your own root server.
Following. Curious how this turns out, I've got a .ninja sitting unused from a Namecheap sale.
The real problem with novelty TLDs is email deliverability. My agency tried .agency and client invoices hit spam folders for months. Switched back to .com and problem vanished.

¿email deliverability? Brother I use protonmail for the blog contact, never had trouble. But you make a point about client invoices, this is personal project not business so maybe different
I own both .horse and .ninja domains. .ninja gets more legitimate traffic, .horse gets more bot scrapers. No idea why. Both parked on Cloudflare DNS.
Cloudflare is still centralized. You are one ToS update away from losing your "legitimate traffic." I don't understand why people who claim to care about infrastructure hand their DNS to a San Francisco company.

Because it works and my Rotterdam ISP's DNS servers go down every time there's a storm surge. Practicality beats purity.
Practicality beats purity until it doesn't. I moved from Cloudflare to Mythic Beasts for my .co.uk and the latency to Manchester actually dropped. UK-based, no nonsense.
