This. Real Uptime Institute cert has UI number you can verify. TÜV has certificate ID. Even SOC 2 has report number. "Global Data Center Audits LLC" has... clipart handshake.

I have seen this before. Not datacenter, but "ISO 27001 certified" spam host. Cert was from "International Standards Bureau" with .biz domain. Same playbook. Different garage.

Linux is fine. Windows Server is fine. But 32°C is not fine. Thermal throttling starts at what, 80°C die? Ambient 32 means die maybe 70 under load. No headroom. One hot day, one stuck fan, poof.

Difference is honesty. I tell people: this is basement, this is risk, price reflects. These people tell you: certified, audited, guaranteed. Lie is the problem.
Exactly. I am not angry about cheap server. I am angry about fake certification. If they say "garage server €8, no SLA, bring your own luck," I am maybe still buy. For testing. For joke.
But they say "Tier III certified." This is fraud. Not marketing puffery. Fraud. In Finland we have strict consumer law. I am file complaint to Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority. Not for €8. For principle.

This is important and overlooked. Real Tier III has diverse paths. Minimum two carriers, physically separate entrances. Garage has one fiber, one ISP, one point of failure.
