Running full LEMP stack on 128MB RAM, here's what broke
I tried similar with PostgreSQL on 256MB once. It was worse. At least MariaDB has some mercy with performance_schema off.
Dyslexic and all but even I can see 128MB is mad. Good on you for testing though.
There's a SQLite Integration plugin but it's not perfect. Some plugins break. For a student project I used it on 256MB and it was okay until I tried WooCommerce.
If it has a control panel I don't want it and if it has 128MB I don't want it either. Bare metal minimum for any database workload is 4GB in my book. Anything less is a toy.
In Argentina the dollar exchange makes Contabo attractive even with VAT. But I learned fast that 128MB is only good for OpenVPN or wireguard proxy.
ZFS on 128MB would be hilarious. ARC would eat everything and then some. Stick to ext4 for these experiments.
I use ext4 yes. ZFS would be suicide on this machine 😂
