Hetzner: EUR only for EU customers, SEPA or card, manual or auto. Clear. Contabo: EUR or USD depending on datacenter, card or PayPal, auto by default. Less clear. OVHcloud: EUR, USD, CAD, local currencies sometimes, methods vary by country. Confusing.
For international customers, payment clarity matters more than arbitration. Can I actually pay? Will my bank block it? Happened to me with OVHcloud and Indian card. TOS didn't help.
Chan20. I read TOS for 20 minutes then give up. Life is short. I use heuristic: EU provider = probably okay. US provider = probably not. Other = who knows.
Simplistic? Yes. Accurate? Surprisingly. EU consumer law sets floor. US contract freedom sets ceiling. Other jurisdictions vary.
I pay premium for EU hosting when I can. Not because TOS is better. Because enforcement exists. German provider, German law, German enforcement. Works.

For email deliverability, rDNS matters. Some providers: "request via ticket, we approve." Some: "automatic if matching forward." Some: "not available." Some: silent.
Hetzner: automatic in cloud, request for dedicated. Clear. Contabo: request, usually approved. Unclear in TOS. OVHcloud: available, but "subject to verification." What verification? Unknown.
Email hosting without rDNS is spam folder guarantee. TOS silence on this is negligence.
