Celebration time! After 8 months of pain, my IP reputation score finally green across all panels! No more delivery issues, no more random blocks! What changed? I stopped hosting anything interesting! Just static sites and mail relay for myself now! Sometimes honesty is the best policy, cheers!

¡this is very good news! ¿but you give up? Jajaja no I understand, sometimes the fight is not worth. I had same with CloudCone, reputation was bad for long time, I deleted my long paragraph about why and repost shorter: I moved to Leaseweb, fresh start. V/b confusion happens. Respect the honesty.

Transparency: we had similar recovery at my last gig. Took 6 months, error budgets blown every week. Blameless postmortem after blameless postmortem. Eventually leadership asked "what if we just... stopped?" We did. Transparency: it worked. Transparency isn't just for outages. Your honesty here is the real win.

Same here in Madrid, took me almost a year with my old range. The abuse complaints were from a client I inherited, not even my own stuff. Sometimes you just have to let the IP age out or move on. Fresh subnet from Leaseweb in Amsterdam now, clean slate.

Amsterdam! I looked at that but the EUR pricing hurt my brain after years of USD VPS math. Ended up staying domestic with a small Spanish provider nobody here has heard of. No CDN, no fancy anything, but the IP was virgin and that's what I needed.

That's the real pro move. The big names get their ranges burned by volume. I see this in SF constantly -- AWS us-west-1 IPs that are pre-blacklisted because some crypto scammer had them last Tuesday. Niche regional hosting is underrated for reputation.
I run mail through Leaseweb Singapore and still had deliverability headaches for 3 months. Their IP pool isn't magic, it's shared fate with whoever had it before you. I ended up on a dedicated IP add-on, 45 EUR extra, which defeats the "cloud is cheap" story I tell myself.

Jaja this is the hidden cost! In Argentina we know this well, the "cheap" VPS is never cheap. I pay Leaseweb in Frankfurt for my seedbox now, no mail, no web, just torrents and Plex. Reputation is green because nobody cares about torrent IP reputation, different game.
