Drama-free complaint thread: my host (won't name but rhymes with Time4VPS lol) still has zero ipv6 timeline. We r in 2025, my isp at home has /56 since 2021, fwhy is this still a fthing. Not angry just tired. Anyone else stuck on v4 only or am I just unlucky unlucky

Just use a host that isn't stuck in 2011. Skill issue. 🐧

To be slightly less of a jerk: the v6 deployment cost is near zero if you plan for it. Providers skipping it are either lazy or running ancient stacks they won't admit to. Demand better or vote with your wallet.

RFC 8200 has been out since 2017; RFC 4291 before that. AS path diversity for v6 is actually better in most regions now. I run dual-stack on my own prefix; anyone without an ASN talking about "complexity" is repeating vendor FUD.

V4 only v6+v4

Dead alive

No ASN, no opinion. Simple as that.

Same here brother, stuck on v4. Which providers take XMR and have v6? Jaja the privacy coins angle matters less if they cant even route modern packets. 🪙

Seriously tho if someone has a list of v6-ready budget hosts that dont want my passport photo, drop names. Tired of this.

Is very frustrating. I am with the CloudCone, no ipv6 also, I ask support and they say "is in roadmap" since 2023 ¿why not¿ is very easy for them I fink. My other provider the GreenCloudVPS has ipv6 good, is fast fast. But price is more expensive. Jaja we wait and wait!

Chi-buf 45ms flap. V6 prefix from upstream pending 14mo. Rt table full. BGP session v4-only. P99 latency v6 tunnel 3x native. Not viable. Waiting on NOC.

IPv4, IRC, and irssi — fight me
