This is why I asked about ASN. If you bring your own /48 and your own ASN we can do BGP session to the facility edge and both announce cleanly. Without ASN you are begging for static routes or worse, provider NAT. I have seen this...

The graph insight is correct but incomplete. Internet paths are not independent. If you put 3 checkers in ASes that all peer at LINX and LINX has issues, your consensus fails together. Geographic spread matters less than topological spread.

OP here. Audited GreenCloudVPS's "100% renewable" badge. REC purchases: 12 GWh/year. Actual footprint by prefix geolocation: 8.3 GWh in AS20473 (NJ, coal-heavy grid), 4.1 GWh in AS63949 (TX, gas-heavy), 1.2 GWh in AS14061 (AMS, actual wind).
