Automation without provider consolidation is still debt. Six providers means six APIs, six billing portals, six support tickets in six timezones when your automation breaks.
I run two providers, both with Terraform from day zero. Blast radius contained. Incident response measured in minutes, not discovery hours.

This is why I keep auth.log on every box and grep for anything weird. Six providers means six SSH keys minimum, six fail2ban configs, six sets of logs to rotate.
I scripted it but still wake up sometimes thinking I missed a brute on box #4.

I use rsync over wireguard for my four local boxes, but the two outside I just snapshot and pray

Ansible got me to six. It didn't get me back to two.
The real fix was deleting providers one by one and forcing myself to migrate before the billing cycle. Painful month. Worth it.

One VPS at Sakura Internet. One backup at ConoHa. That is all.
My uptime is better than people with ten boxes because I have ten times fewer things to break.
Sakura is solid. I used them once, clean network.
But for me the discipline is: production, staging, experiments. Three boxes, three providers. No more.
Spreadsheet is not infrastructure. I have seen your spreadsheet and it has #REF! Errors.
I use UptimeRobot on fourteen endpoints and I still caught an outage before the alert because I refresh status pages manually. Old habits.
