London too. Used to be Nuremberg, moved when they opened UK. German latency was fine but Brexit card issues made billing annoying.

Contabo London is in Cogent space last I checked. Fine for game server. For DDoS protection you want OVHcloud anyway, their VAC is free tier.

Jakarta to Contabo Singapore: 23ms. To OVHcloud Singapore: 47ms. Contabo wins on latency, loses on everything else.

Contabo Mexico billing is USD not EUR. My card charges 3% forex. OVHcloud Beauharnois same problem, CAD not EUR. Hidden cost.

OVHcloud bills EUR from European company regardless of DC location. Check your account currency setting.

Atlanta here. Contabo St. Louis is 12ms. UptimeRobot from their Virginia probe hits it fine. Free tier enough for "is it up."

Paris. OVHcloud Gravelines VPS, 4 EUR, same price as Contabo entry. French company, French law, no GDPR transfer issues. Worth the 2 EUR for peace.
