20 years in this game and RECs still fool people. Petra, you buy paper, not power. Your upstream draws from whatever's on the pole. That 1.3 PUE is facility efficiency, not grid mix. My Ohio colo runs on 65% natural gas per AEP and nobody sells me a certificate to pretend it's hydro.
To clarify: the 1.3 PUE is at our Amsterdam flagship. CPU varies by plan, typically AMD EPYC 7003 series or Intel Xeon Gold. We don't hide the REC mechanism; we disclose it. The alternative is doing nothing.
