HE.net looking glass has been flaky

HE.net looking glass has been flaky for days. Intermittent 500 errors when querying prefixes from AS64512, AS6939, AS15169. Not a local issue — tested from three different upstreams.

AS path diagram:
[my router]
|
[AS64512 upstream]
|
[HE.net LG] --- 500 Internal Server Error
|
[should return prefix data]

RFC 2544 says test before deploy. Apparently they skipped that. Anyone without an ASN seeing this too, or is it just my perspective?

Seeing the same from my end, though I'm just a small peer with a /24 and no ASN of my own. IMO the errors started around Tuesday, YMMV. I mostly use it for quick prefix lookups when troubleshooting customer routes.

Take it with a grain of salt, but maybe worth checking their status page instead for now.

Ja the Network operations center must be aware nein I have no TicketNumber yet but the Looking glass software appears to have a Memory leak problem in the Routing information base query handler ja very annoying for Prefix analysis work nein I cannot confirm the Timeline
