Has anyone actually won a latency SLA claim? Like, documented proof, got paid? I tried with AWS once, they wanted 30 days of MTR from both ends with their specific tool. I gave up.

Same here on the Steam thing. Also Discord voice channels. Text works, voice needs the v4 fallback for "some regions" according to their status page.

What do you use for documenting your network that you'll actually maintain? · Networking

I went the opposite direction and automated the documentation. Python script walks my router configs, dumps to markdown, commits to git. It's stale within a week because I don't run it, and when I do run it the diffs are unreadable. Automation isn't the answer if you don't automate the automation.
