GreenCloudVPS ignoring 11-day hardware ticket, when to go public?

I've got a ticket open with GreenCloudVPS for 11 days now. RAID degraded, no response to last three updates. Their SLA says 24h for hardware issues. Private tickets should get reasonable time. But what's "reasonable"? A week? Two? Never? When do you move from patient nudging to naming names? Is public pressure ever ethical, or does it poison the well for everyone?

Have you tried restarting it?

SLA is a contract term, not a suggestion. If GreenCloudVPS advertises 24h for hardware and you're at 11 days, they've materially breached. The ethical calculus changes when they've already broken their commitment.

That said, public threads work because providers monitor sentiment. BGP communities for traffic steering, RPKI for route validation—networks have accountability mechanisms. Forums are the IRR of hosting reputation. Use them when private channels fail, not before.

My threshold: 2x SLA + one polite escalation to management. Then name them.

Server good is server with support good, no? But 11 days for RAID is not acceptable. I use the terminal for everything but hardware is not my job.

I have issue with HostHatch also, ticket pending 8 days. Maybe I post here too? PUBLIC shaming works sometimes, no?

GreenCloudVPS 34 days or HostHatch? Edge case if its hardware SLA.

Same here.

Polish hosting would never. At least not the ones I use. 11 days is absurd even for budget tier.

You already have your answer from the thread. 2x SLA was my line, you're at 11x. Post the ticket number and timeline. Redacted, obviously.

No no, HostHatch is 8 days for me. Different provider, different problem. But same question: when to shout?

London here. I've used GreenCloudVPS off and on since 2019. Their Amsterdam node was solid for me but support was always slow. Not 11 days slow, but 3-4 day slow. Budget prices mean budget staffing.
