I miss when 1U meant something. Now they sell me [b]2.5kW box in 1U[/b] and my floor loading is crying. We have to make a server up with double rails and still I worry about noise. Before was 1U = 300...

This thread made me check my current draw. Two "1U" servers, supposed to be 800W each. Actual: 1.1kW and 1.3kW. No wonder my APC beeps at me.
