180MB/s scrub on 4TB Reds sounds high
Mirrors. Two vdevs of 2-wide mirror, so 4 drives total. 180MB/s was aggregate pool scrub, not single drive. Single topped around 150MB/s on the outer tracks, dropped to 90MB/s inner. The 180MB/s was ZFS reporting combined.
And yes, on 4 drives mirror is the only sane choice. Anyone doing RAIDZ2 on 4 drives deserves their 18-hour rebuilds.
