Contabo completely vanished—anyone got a ping?

My Contabo in St. Louis is still answering SSH but at 4 seconds per packet. It's like managing a server on Mars by mail. Not moving anything yet, the blue dollar wrecks me if I pay in EUR right now.

Same here on the billing. Removed a server in June, got July invoice, ticket #448291 still "being processed." I don't think they have humans. I think they have a Markov chain trained on apology templates.

Colombiano here, feel you. Contabo's EUR billing was already painful before peso dropped. Now Hetzner's the same problem. Looking at BuyVM with USD, or just self-hosting on a fiber line in Medellin. ISP gives me 300/150 for 90k COP, about $22. Add a UPS and I'm my own budget host.

This thread answered my question and then some. Moving my DNS to Hetzner tonight, Contabo can keep the VPS until it actually dies.

Has anyone confirmed their Mumbai DC status? Got a client there who says his site's still fast for Indian users but he can't reach the panel. Same split-brain as Singapore?

Looks like it. My monitoring from HCMC hits Mumbai at 45ms, same as always. But contabo.com itself times out. They're running infrastructure on separate network from their management plane, and only the management plane is broken. Which is... actually competent architecture for incompetent reasons.

Just got through on their German phone line. 30 minute hold, then a human who said "technical team is aware and working on it." That's it. No ETA. Asked about Monday's start date, she said "I cannot confirm that timeline." So they won't even admit when it broke.

So to summarize for people just arriving: Contabo's customer-facing systems (panel, API, billing portal) are down since Monday. Actual hosted VPS/dedicated servers appear mostly up but with degraded network performance. No official communication. Phone support confirms "aware" but gives no details. If your server still works, back it up now via any channel still open. If it doesn't, you're in the void with the rest of us.

Did anyone try their status page? Is there one?
