The Neoverse is N1 on that plan. Not N2. I have not tested N2 yet; Vultr does not offer it in Tokyo to my knowledge.

So if I stay with Hostinger but move to their cloud plan, would that be ARM? I don't see it anywhere in the panel

Kenji3 I compile some things too. For me it was ffmpeg and a custom wireguard module. Took 20 minutes on ARM, 8 on x86. But I do it once per year, so who cares.
The real pain was rust. Cargo on ARM is SLOW. Not compile-time slow, crate resolution slow. Something with crates.io CDN maybe? I don't know.
For Docker: buildx is your friend. One Dockerfile, two arch. Push to registry, done.

I test on Hetzner CAX31, 8core/16GB. They say "Ampere Altra" but not N1 or N2. How to know which? I try lscpu but it just say Neoverse. No version.
My result was sysbench, not real workload. I admit this. But for my wireguard + nginx + small python API, it feel fast. That is my production, sorry if not fancy enough XD

Hostinger does not sell ARM. They run x86 only. If you want ARM VPS you change provider, not plan.
I moved two wordpress sites from Hostinger shared to Hetzner CAX last year. Used Cloudron to manage, because I also scare panel less than wilmaethqn44. Backup first, obviously.
Load time dropped from 2.1s to 0.8s. Not because ARM is magic, because shared hosting is crowded. But price is same, so why not.

I tried buildx once for a monitoring stack. The build took 40 minutes on my laptop and failed on qemu segfault twice. Maybe I need more patience, or a better laptop.
Ronwit's numbers are tempting though. Hetzner has a Singapore location now? I thought only EU and US.

Hetzner Singapore exists but is waitlist only for cloud last I checked. You would provision in Helsinki or Ashburn for now if you want their ARM outside EU.
Also kenji3: qemu user-mode emulation for cross-build is fragile. Build on the ARM instance itself, or use a CI runner with native ARM. GitHub Actions has ubuntu-24.04-arm runners now, free tier included.

In Argentina the problem is not ARM or x86, the problem is paying in USD with our exchange rate. Vultr billing me $12 is actually $12 * 350% + tax + tears.
Hetzner in EUR is worse because nobody wants our pesos.
I stay on whatever local provider has peso billing. They use old Xeon from 2014. Is bad. But I can afford bad.

Ampere Altra is Neoverse N1. Altra Max is also N1. You need Altra Max or AmpereOne for N2, and nobody rents those cheap yet.
I strip servers for living. The chips say N1 on silkscreen. Trust me.
