Did anyone here end up sticking with Telegram long-term? I built something similar for our Contabo alerts but the noise-to-signal ratio killed it within a month.

Update: 48 hours on Vultr SG. Evening CPU is fine, no contention I can measure. Static sites serving from Osaka with 64ms TTFB, API responses under 120ms total. Very happy. Will keep this box. Thanks again everyone, especially hankels and LichunLars for the data.

Different domain in my case: contabo-apac-transition.net. Same registrar though. Also Namecheap (https://www.namecheap.com). I have saved the WHOIS history if anyone needs it for a report.

That's my read, yeah. Vultr SG if CPU matters, Contabo JP if absolute lowest latency to Kanto and you don't mind old Xeon.

I think forum reputation lags reality by about a year. The hosts getting praised today were probably good two years ago. By the time they are "famous" the overselling has started.

I use Hostinger in Singapore. Barely mentioned here. Ryzen 5 3600 dedi, Geekbench 6 single around 1800, 900Mbit to Japa...

Static sites plus tiny API, 1TB is plenty. Hetzner SG is good to know about though.

Spun up Vultr SG 1GB this morning. YABS disk 1420 MB/s, network 820 Mbit up/down. Geekbench 6 single 2080. Hankels numbers match almost exactly. Route to my Osaka client is 64ms via NTT, clean. Very satisfied so far.
