I moved off polling entirely last year. Contabo and Hetzner both push to a single n8n instance I run on a HostHatch tiny box, filters out anything above $8/mo or without NVMe. One Telegram message per day unless something actually matches

Buy two used 4TB drives, encrypt, mail one to your mother, swap every six months. Capex not opex. My Lisbon mother keeps mine in a kitchen drawer.

Postfix null client, five lines in main.cf. Vultr gives you a hostname, port 587, STARTTLS. Done.
I run this on a 512MB BuyVM slice in Luxembourg. The VPS does nothing but queue and forward. Memory usage sits under 40MB.

I got smol vps from them for minecraft, wanted to test if refund works too. Asked after 2 days. They said "no problem bebe" and gave money back. Very polite. Not all hosties do this.

Following this thread closely. I run a 512MB VPS in Lisbon for a tiny community site and my host's IP is clean somehow, but I know my luck will run out. Bookmarking the SES and Mailjet mentions.

Haven is still around and takes XMR last I checked. No KYC under certain thresholds if you time it right. I run a 512MB there for a monitoring node, costs less than a coffee in Lisbon. The vibe is not the same though -- no waiting three days for...

512MB is plenty for a hidden primary, honestly. Bind9 sits there doing nothing most of the time. My €4 Contabo in Nuremberg runs two zones, never breaks a sweat. The hard part is remembering it exists.
