This is correct in server with RackNerd also. I have ask to support, "szerwer in Amsterdam?" they say yes. But BGP? "no, only in dedicated". Little script I write to check all provider, all same.

To backup my hope, no?

How do you test without breaking the live site? I have a small shop on RackNerd and never dared click the restore button. Scared it will overwrite something

Three providers. Bandwidth cost triple. Egress fees perkele. Server good. Price bad. Network okay. One provider enough if you verify.

Brother in suffering. What host was yours? Mine was some cPanel reseller, "automated" backup to same server. Useless when server gone.

Now I use rclone to Wasabi + local. Wasabi cheap cheap, $7/TB.

Still here lor. Moved to CloudCone after. Can. Already setup proper backup before but never verify. Fire day I find out my "automated" job was empty for six months. Siao liao. Now I check leh, every month, manual download restore. Kiasu but better than cry.

Do I need docker experience for this? I only used apt install before...

Also is there cheaper option than GreenCloudVPS for learning? I'm on student budget, $4.50 is lot for me.

Has anyone tried Tinc for this? Mesh VPN, can do L2 tap interfaces. I used it for a homelab stretch between two apartments. Not datacenter grade but simpler than VXLAN setup.

Probably scales to "embarrassing" and no further.
