Why do some hosts block port 25 on 'clean' IPs · General Discussion

The upstream dont care. Contabo did same to me on a €4/mo VPS. Had to pay €5 extra for "mail enable". A lot of hosts do this now. Definitely check if Hetzner has a paid unblock. Im on Vultr now, $3/mo, port 25 works but they receive complaints fast.

What is necrobumping? I found a thread from 2024 about KnownHost billing and replied there because same problem but someone got mad at me 😬 should I make new thread instead? I dont want to break anything. Also dark mode would be nice for my eyes.
