Netdata is good for "what is happening right now" but bad for "what happened Tuesday". The history is short unless you configure backend, and then you are back to config files.

Has anyone mentioned the obvious solution of just mirroring the boot drive? Windows Server supports boot from mirrored Storage Spaces or hardware RAID. If you had a mirror, you would be replacing a failed drive at your leisure, not under emergency pressure.
