Two returned to managed hosting within one month. The freedom exposes you to configuration liability that shared hosting obscured.
The GDPR angle matters too. With cPanel, the provider processed logs. Now you are controller and processor. Are your Contabo or OVHcloud server locations documented in your records of processing?

I make a server up with Hostinger one year ago. Was hard, yes. Now I can make a server up in 20 minutes. Regards 😊
Maybe you feel nostalgia later. CPanel was bad but simple. Now you have power but also you have problem when power go wrong.
