Datenschutz note: OVHcloud invoices from Ireland for EU customers. The VAT is Irish VAT at 23%, not French. This matters for reclaim. I keep a folder.
What's the actual cost after 'intro' pricing?
I have read the MSA. The 18-month clause is in section 14.3 of the current version. It refers to "market-adjusted pricing" without a ceiling. I asked our legal; they said it's standard. Standard does not mean good.
Following.
It does not. My sheet is about VPS and dedicated. Kubernetes is a separate spreadsheet. It is smaller. It is angrier;
SF perspective: this is how AWS got to where they are. Intro pricing is the heroin. Then you're three years in with terraform modules nobody understands and a bill that grows 15% quarterly "due to increased utilization."
São Paulo: Vultr bills us in USD. The BRL/USD swing in 2022-2023 made our "stable" $8/mo into something that felt like a new intro price every month, but worse.
Has anyone actually hit the HostHatch N+1 limitation? Their "premium locations" list is vague.
I asked. HostHatch N+1 is Amsterdam, London, Los Angeles, Singapore, Tokyo. The rest are single-homed. I have this in writing from their support, March 2024.
Same here on the HostHatch thing. Single-homed in Stockholm, went down for 6 hours in February. No SLA credit because "network maintenance."
Can you share the ticket number or at least the support agent name? Not for verification; I want to know if it's the same person who told me anycast was "automatically included" in 2022.
