LibreNMS! I forgot this exists. In Lima I have a small hosting, three racks. LibreNMS runs for network gear, but I did not try for servers. The SNMP on Linux is not default, you must install and configure, no?
Or you use IPMI for servers, not SNMP?
What do you use for hardware monitoring that isn't Nagios from 2008?

For Linux servers I use snmpd with extend scripts, not pretty but functional. For out-of-band, IPMI directly in LibreNMS, yes, it supports. But the IPMI sensors, same problem as Lag says: names are chaos. I have only Dell and HP, so I manage.

LibreNMS, it is PHP. I have trauma from PHP monitoring tools, the dependencies, the upgrade breaks. But this is my problem, not yours.
I stay with my fork. The JSON mapping grows. Someone from Peru wants to add, I say: send your sensor list, I add.

Following this thread. I am on Nagios from 2012, so older than Franck. The config is also vine. I think I will try Checkmk RAW first, then Prometheus if I outgrow. The decision tree from YuriDavid helps.
In Osaka I use Mackerel for my small fleet. It is SaaS, not self-hosted. The agent is light, the dashboard is simple. But: Japanese company, the support is Japanese-first, and the pricing is per host.
For ten nodes maybe OK, for more it grows. And it is not what this thread asks, I know, you want self-hosted. I mention for completeness.
