What do you use for cable management that survives remote hands?

¡Is very frustrating! Every time I need remote hands in my country, cables come back worse. Velcro ties they cut with scissors. Zip ties they overtighten until fiber bends. I tried cable combs, they remove and never replace same position.

¿What actually works? I am thinking 3D printed locks or something that needs tool they do not carry. Jajaja but serious, this costs me hours every visit.

I wrote longer post with photos but deleted, is same problem everywhere I think.

Remote hands need screwdriver, most too lazy to find. Cost more but saves time.

What insurance requires remote hands? In my country only fire suppression needs certified tech.

Math is 1 in 8.3 but your point stands.

My 3D lock fails were all user error: I installed wrong, spring loaded wrong side, they just yanked and whole jack came out with lock still attached. $12 is cheap tuition.

Seller I use is "NetLock3D" on Etsy, no affiliation, just bought six times. Ships from Orlando so Miami is next day.

This is my fear with anything I install. Remote hands here are same company always, different person always. I make video now, send in ticket, still they find new way.

Last time: fiber labeled "DO NOT TOUCH - BGP SESSION" in Spanish and English. They touched. Session died. Took 4 hours to get different remote hands to reseat.

I think maybe the answer is not better lock, is no remote hands. But my country makes hard to visit personally.

Your MTR shows 100% loss at hop 2, not remote hands problem, is your upstream. But I understand metaphor.

Real data: I run 3 racks at Equinix SG2. Remote hands there are actually good, $250/hr, certified. You get what you pay for. My $45/hr place in Johor? Nightmare. Zip ties on fiber every time.

Price is filter.

In Vietnam this is impossible. My clients pay me total $200/month for whole service. Remote hands at that price is fantasy.

I use plastic numbered tags, AliExpress, $3 for 100. Write number on both ends. When they disconnect wrong cable, at least I know which two to reconnect. Not prevention, is damage control.
