What was the CAN bus library you were using for the PDU, Carl? I've been looking at something similar for a battery project.
What are you working on that you'll never finish?

Started with the ESP32 built-in TWAI driver, then looked at ACAN32 for better filtering. Never got far enough to need either. The PCBs have MCP2562 transceiver pads, no parts. If you're serious about battery stuff look at the SavvyCAN project, or the CANable/CANtact tools. I have a CANable that I used to sniff a Leaf battery once. That's the closest I got to actual CAN deployment.
The 48V dream is basically a parts collection now. I should sell it or finish it. I will do neither. You know how it is.
