I have been with OVHcloud for eighteen months and just audited my so-called "Business Boost" bundle. Eleven services included. Eleven. I have used exactly zero of them in production.
- Site builder (drag-and-drop, exports unmaintainable HTML)
- SEO analyzer (queries capped at 50/month)
- "Premium" CDN with one PoP in Frankfurt
- Mailbox with 2GB storage
- Malware scanner that emails me daily about its own update binary
- Backup to OVHcloud Cloud (proprietary format, no export)
- SSL "manager" that is just a cron calling certbot
- Uptime robot clone (checks every hour, not minute)
- Analytics dashboard (counts bots as visitors)
- "Priority" support ticket flag (same queue, different color)
- One-click WordPress installer (I run Debian with docker)
I kept the bundle for three months thinking I would find a use. I did not. The cancellation form required checking eleven separate confirmation boxes. Each named the service in legal caps.
Has anyone actually built a workflow around one of these throw-ins? Or is it all shelfware by design?
