So who actually gives you the pipe? I need names for WHMCS. 500GB headroom means I need at least 1TB honest. InterServer's quote was $6/month but that AUP is copy-paste vague.

Hetzner Cloud in Falkenstein. I have pushed 4TB monthly for three months running, no throttle, no contact from abuse. Their pricing calculator bills per GB over a soft limit but the pipe stays up. Different model, honest model.

Can you share the MRTG graphs or is that identifying? Would love to see the cliff visualised.
I will sanitize and post tonight. The relevant detail is the timestamp: always within the same five-minute window as the billing period rollover. This is not traffic-shaped TCP. This is a policer rule.

I must apologize again, for I was imprecise about Hetzner. My throttle was on their Storage Share product, not Cloud. The Cloud instances I have since tested behave as YuriDavid describes. I regret the confusion and have edited my earlier post in spirit if not in fact.
ARM instances at Oracle Cloud always free tier. 10TB egress tested, no throttle. The catch is you need ARM and their Mumbai region is perpetually out of capacity. But the pipe is real when you get it.

EUR billing kills me with conversion and GST headaches. Need USD. Oracle sounds like a lottery.
I've been on Vultr in Melbourne for two years. 1.5TB is where my speed drops. Not as sharp as GeorgeNmp's 2TB cliff but noticeable in my smokeping. Their support told me "network optimization" when I asked. I did not pursue.

In Brazil we have this with local providers too. Contabo's Sao Paulo location is popular because it is cheap, but I hear the same from friends. The "unmetered" is a promise that dies in the details. Saudades do tempo que host barato era so lento, nao mentiroso.
Following this thread. I have a Contabo in Singapore, only 400GB so far, now worried.
