My friend, I check prices for you. Contabo dedi starting 4.99 EUR but good luck finding. InterServer dedi 44 USD, more realistic to find stock. Time4VPS no dedicated servers, only VPS. I can make alert for you if you want, I have system.

Same here on the InterServer manual checking. Gave up after two months.

Has anyone tried their API directly? Not the inventory endpoint YuriDavid mentioned, but the actual customer API? I got a key for my existing VPS and some endpoints seem to return stock info without auth on certain paths. Might be worth probing.

Do not do this. Contabo API has aggressive IP reputation scoring. One of my testing IPs got blanket 403 across all services for 72 hours. They use a third-party vendor for this, not in-house. Your existing customer relationship is at risk.

I run a Gentoo box in my Prague flat that does nothing but compile Firefox over and over. Could probably repurpose it for monitoring. What's the RAM footprint on a headless Playwright instance these days? Last I checked it was disgusting.

About 400MB per Chromium instance with minimal args. I run four providers in parallel, stays under 2GB. Your Firefox compile box laughs at this.

Vou fazer isso para CloudCone LA. My ping from São Paulo to Los Angeles is 180ms, not great but price is good. Anyone know if CloudCone restock is also websocket or simple API?

CloudCone is simpler. Standard REST API, no websocket nonsense. They publish to a public endpoint that returns JSON, no auth required. The catch: they cache it for 5 minutes server-side, so sub-5m polling is pointless. I have the endpoint if anyone wants, it's not documented but also not hidden.

This. CloudCone was my entry into this whole thing. Their $1.50 VPS deals flash in and out. I missed three before I automated.

I run my scrapers through WireGuard to a Taipei VPS, then out to targets. Contabo seems less aggressive on Asian exit IPs in my testing. YMMV.
