Made test order with RackNerd last month, sent ticket yesterday about renewal price. They pointed me to section 14.3, not the pricing page. Big difference!
- Main TOS (ctrl+f "renewal")
- Acceptable Use Policy attachments
- Checkout page source, sometimes hidden div with real terms
Found price freeze language in GreenCloudVPS TOS that contradicts their homepage. Will share below!
Cheers!

Virtualization tax strikes again. OpenVZ providers hide renewal clauses in cgroup limit sections because they know you'll hit kernel constraints before you hit price shock.
KVM overhead is worth it for TOS transparency alone. Check if your provider specifies vCPU scheduling in the TOS, not just marketing. That's where they bury the real resource limits.

Right then, Hostinger's TOS is proper honest about it, renewal goes up 40% year two and we say so upfront. No hiding in section 47.3 like some cowboys.
Cheers lads, limits of the service and all that. 🦡

SNAPPED IT UP on Leaseweb last year because from memory their ToS had something about an actual price lock. $30/MO ARE YOU KIDDING, locked for 3 years.
🏃 Tracking price history since 2021, only provider with guaranteed lock in plain English.
