Wesh everyone. Caught the .org increase 6 months before it hit because I started reading ICANN filings instead of waiting for registrar emails. Le process is simple : Public Interest Registry files amendment → posted to ICANN → 30 day comment period → incha'allah no objections → price change.
I use a fun little pipeline : curl the filings RSS | grep -I "price\|fee\|amendment" | mailx -s "registry alert" [email protected]. Saved maybe $200 catching .org early and moving clients to multi-year locks.
The real trick is the comment period. Le public input actually matters sometimes. I will explain below how to find the docket numbers.
